Our efforts here are a non for profit venture.  We graciously accept donations to keep our mission as strong today as in the past years.  In exchange for your donations we offer Illinois Conservation Police medallions and Conservation Police Officers Lodge prints.  Please consider helping an effort we all use and enjoy.

Our Mission

The Conservation Police Lodge was chartered in 1982 and was organized by the Conservation Police Officers in Illinois for the following objectives:

Promotion of the wise and ethical use of the natural resources of the State of Illinois.  Promotion of scientific management of those resources while giving consideration to the needs and opinions of the citizens of the state in management.  Promotion of
legislation which benefits the natural resources, hunters, fishermen and all outdoor recreation pursuits.  To Provide scholarships for college students pursuing careers in the Natural Resource Protection.  To improve public awareness and support for the Natural Resource Protection field.  To provide a means of interaction between the Conservation Police Officers and Police Officers in other fields and agencies.  To work for the protection and safety of the public while they are enjoying their outdoor pursuits.  Promotion of professional, community based police work by Conservation Police Officers.  To educate the citizens of the State of Illinois about the natural resources of the state and the value of the protection provided by the Laws and the Conservation Police Officers.

The Conservation Lodge is also affiliated with the Police Benevolent and Protective Association as Unit #90.

Additionally through the Lodges name or through the name of the local Conservation Police Officer, memberships are held in most of the conservation organizations on local, state and national levels.

Conservation Police Lodge #146 of the Fraternal Order of Police is a not for profit organization registered with the Illinois Secretary of State. Information on tax states and Internal Revenue Service identification numbers are available upon request.

To promote, foster and preserve fraternalism and friendship among its members, to assist worthy members, their families, widows and orphans, to strengthen understanding and communication between the members of this Association and the general public and other organizations is to promote good conservation practices and to establish and maintain friendship and exchange of information with other law enforcement agencies.
